Benefit Concert for Englewood Theater
The band "Shining Star" will perform the classic hits of Earth Wind & Fire in a benefit concert for the Englewood Theater
Proceeds from the event will benefit the restoration of the Englewood Theater.

Community meeting
The Friends of Englewood Theater will host a community meeting Tues., Sept. 9th at 6 pm at Englewood Arts Center (10901 E Winner Rd).
An independent feasibility study of the Englewood Theater will be presented by PGAV Planners. The community meeting is open to the public.
PGAV developed cost estimates on renovating and operating the Englewood Theater and explored potential uses for the theater which opened in 1949. They also developed renovation costs for adjacent Ben Franklin retail space.
