Benefit concert announced

Tony’s Productions LLC has announced a benefit concert on Nov. 30, 2025, to for the Englewood Theater.

“Shining Star”, an Earth Wind and Fire tribute band, will perform. The show will be held at The Warehouse on Broadway, 3951 Broadway, Kansas City, MO 64111 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. 

Independence businessman and civic leader, Brad Speaks, is lead guitarist for the nine-member band. “Shining Star has super talented musicians and it turns out lots of people love the music of Earth Wind & Fire,” said Speaks.

“The Englewood Theater is a treasure in the heart of Independence and the Englewood Arts District, so we thought it would be fun to play a show and help raise some money.” 

Tickets will be available after Sept. 19th from Friends of Englewood Theater or directly from the venue.
